Height limits, noise contours and setback rules now apply across several Epe and Ibeju-Lekki communities.

The state physical planning authority has published the zoning map for the Lekki–Epe International Airport, setting out approach corridors, noise contours and building height limits around the site.

Inside the inner approach zone, new structures are capped at two floors and certain uses — schools, hospitals, tall masts — require specific clearance.

Planning officers say existing lawful structures are not affected, but any new development approval within the mapped zones will be checked against the aviation overlay.

Community leaders have asked for the map to be posted at ward offices, noting that many affected landholders do not transact online.
