New Injection Substation Lifts Power Supply Across Epe Town

Feeders serving the market, hospital and campus areas have been separated to reduce load shedding.

An injection substation has been energised in Epe town, allowing the distribution company to separate feeders serving the market, hospital and campus areas.

Businesses on the market feeder report longer continuous supply, though voltage complaints persist at the ends of older lines.

The distribution company says the next constraint is the low-voltage network, where overloaded transformers and informal connections cause most local outages.
