Eti-Osa Drainage Works Race the Rains

Drainage channelisation across several Eti-Osa corridors is being accelerated ahead of peak rains, after repeated flooding in low-lying neighbourhoods.

Engineers say the works focus on secondary channels that feed the primary outfalls, which have historically received the bulk of maintenance attention.

Residents' associations have been asked to keep channels clear of refuse, a recurring cause of blockage.
