Waste Transfer Station Opens to Serve Epe and Ibeju-Lekki

The facility ends long haulage runs that left refuse uncollected for days across the corridor.

A waste transfer station serving Epe and Ibeju-Lekki has opened, cutting the haulage distance that previously left collection trucks off their routes for most of the working day.

Operators say collection frequency in served wards should roughly double under the new arrangement.

Community associations have asked for published collection schedules by street so that residents stop dumping at informal roadside points.
