4th Mainland Bridge Alignment Pins Corridor Interchange at Itoikin

The confirmed alignment for the 4th Mainland Bridge places a major interchange in the Itoikin area, tying the bridge's landward leg into the Ikorodu–Epe and Lekki–Epe road network.

Planners say the interchange is intended to distribute port-bound freight away from the Lekki corridor's congested western end, offering an inland route toward Ikorodu and the Lagos–Ibadan axis.

Land within the interchange footprint is subject to acquisition, and affected communities have been listed for the compensation process.

Community representatives at a briefing pressed for the compensation schedule to be published alongside the alignment drawings, citing delays on earlier road schemes.
